Anthony J. Laurino, age 68, of Sewanee, Tennessee passed away on Monday, January 1, 2024, at Tri- Star Centennial Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. Mr. Laurino was born on November 1, 1955, to the late Gerard and Philomena (Falcetano) Laurino in Newark, New Jersey. He worked for the Post Office for Forty- Two Years; where he retired as a city letter carrier in Union, New Jersey and had a night gigs working as a musician. He was in a few different bands, and two of which were Smoke 13 and Tattoo Rose. He was a lover of all kinds of music, and good whiskey as a Jack Daniels Squire since 1989. He will be remembered as being kind but strong-willed, was old school, but would always be brutally honest. He was generous and a man of his word; and loved playing blues keyboard, hunting and fishing. In addition to his parents, he is proceeded in death by one sister, Melinda Laurino; brother, Gerard Laurino. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Ann Marie Laurino; daughter, Laurén Marie Laurino (Jason Thomas) Heydweiller; grandson, Rowan Allicin Laurino; sister- in- law, Adeline Laurino; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 8, 2024, at Moore- Cortner Funeral Home from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM with funeral service will follow at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home.
