Funeral Service for Edwin Dudley Guthrie, age 75, of Logan, will be at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home with Scott Sessions officiating; interment in Emeus Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. prior to the service.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Guthrie passed away on Friday, December 22, 2023, at his residence. He was born August 21, 1948, to Johnnie Loid Guthrie and Carrie Belle Guthrie.
Mr. Guthrie was the long-time math team coach at West Point High School and retired after 34 years of teaching.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Ruth Guthrie; sons, Eddie (Tracy) Guthrie and Kevin (Amanda) Guthrie; grandchildren, Addy, Jacy, Zady, Reese, and John Luke; brother, Dennis (Barbara) Guthrie; sister, Esther (Neil) Hayes, and a host of nieces and nephews.
