Ms. Lisa Diane Barrett, age 56, of Arab, Alabama passed away Friday, December 15, 2023 at Cloverdale Manor Health & Rehabilitation in Scottsboro, AL. Lisa was born October 19, 1967 in Madison, AL daughter of Roger Dale Pate and melba Ann Butler Pate. She was a homemaker married to James Lloyd Barrett (DOD 10/25/2007).
Lisa was devoted to her family. Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were the most important aspects of her life. She strived to take care of them all and to keep them together. Lisa also had an artistic and creative interest. She enjoyed music, poetry, drawing and crochet.
Lisa is survived by a loving family which includes: son, Jesse Barrett (Kymberly Womack), daughters, Jennifer Davis (Stacy) and Alisha Parker; brother, Billy Pate; grandchildren, Hunter Davis, Trinity Young, Haley Davis, Josh Parker, Atlas Barrett and Amara Barrett; great grandchildren, Audrey Rose Burnt and Brody Davis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Lloyd Barrett; parents, Roger and Melba Pate; and grandchild, Cadence Parker.
Services for Lisa will be Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel in Arab, AL. The visitation will be 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm. The funeral service will immediately follow beginning at 2:00 pm.
The family has elected cremation following the service.
