Dorothy Stanley Taylor, age 73 of Foley, passed away December 12, 2023 at Ridgeview Regional Medical Center in Gadsden. Dorothy was born on July 17, 1950 to the late John Stanley and Audrey Leola Bonds Pate. She loved her grandbabies and loved to sing; her animals and her kids. She also enjoyed the beach and fishing.
She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Posten (Faith Reed) of Foley, AL; two granddaughters, Ashley Fletcher (Hank) of Rainbow City, AL, and Kayla Posten (Billy) of Elberton, AL; a grandson, Greg Posten of Foley, AL; great grandchildren Elexi Berryhill and Aleena Berryhill, both of Morris, AL, Corbin Posten of Elberta, AL, and Jasper Fletcher of Rainbow City, AL; a sister, Margaret Giroff of Rainbow City, AL; a brother, Wayne Stanley of Hayden, AL; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three brothers, Glenn Stanley, James Pate, and Jerry Pate.
Services will be announced at a later date. Bell Funeral Home of Sumiton assisting with arrangements.
