James Edgar Wadkins, 78, of Savannah, TN, passed away on Monday, December 11, 2023, at Magnolia Regional Health Center, surrounded by family. He was born on June 21, 1945 in Iuka, MS. He graduated from Iuka High School in 1965. James enjoyed tinkering, welding, and doing carpentry. He was excellent when it came to working with his hands. He owned his own business and was a member of the Boilermakers Union. He is survived by his children, Michael Wadkins (Renee) and Katrina Osborn (Ray); his grandchildren, Savannah Alexander (Jonathan), April Clark, Amber Barnes (Jonathon), Diana Wadkins, and Samuel Osborn (Maria); 8 great-grandchildren; and the mother of his children, Peggy Wadkins. He was preceded in death by his parents, J.O. Lance Wadkins and Mary Ella Yarber Wadkins; and his siblings, Charles Freeman Yarber and Patricia Ann Wadkins Daniel.
