Jesse Lewis Goode was born in Toney, Alabama to the late Moses Goode, Sr. and Ollie Mae Goode on July 25, 1956. Jesse transitioned from his earthly to his heavenly home on Sunday, December 3, 2023.
Jesse accepted Christ at an early age and joined Blackburn Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church In America under the leadership of the late Reverend McKinley Jones.
Jesse was preceded in death by special friend, Patsy Garner; his parents; siblings, Moses Goode, Jr., George Goode, Matt Goode, and Betty Ann Goode; and daughter, Nicole Foster Scott.
Jesse leaves to cherish his memories, daughters; Marchelle Foster and Eureka Parker of Huntsville, AL; brothers, Jimmy Goode (Juanita) of Ardmore, AL, James Goode of Toney, AL, Sam Goode (Barbara) of Toney, AL, and Billy Goode (Stephanie) of Huntsville, AL; sister, Judy Carney (Ronnie) of Nashville, TN; sister-in-law, Tonetta Goode of Huntsville, AL; grandson, Jacques Foster; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 8, 2023, at the Blackburn Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church in America (507 Plummer Road, Huntsville, AL 35806) with Pastor Tramaine Snodgrass officiating. Interment will be in the Meadowlawn Garden of Peace. Mr. Goode will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time.
Public viewing will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Thursday, December 7, 2023, and 8:30 until 9:00 a.m., Friday, December 8, 2023, at the Royal Funeral Home.
