Dorothy Ann “Dot” Couch, 73, of Florence, passed away, Wednesday, November 29, 2023. Visitation will be Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Central Heights. The funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel with Larry Burbank officiating. Burial will be in Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
Dot was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. She loved people and never met a stranger. Dot was always willing to help people in need. She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Balentine; sisters, Cindy Smith and Lea Behel; brother, Charles Balentine; brothers-in-law, Jerry Thompson, Barry Ridgeway, and Eddie Killen; nephew, Donnie Smith; mother and father-in-law, Dorothy and Ray Couch.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Mark Couch; children, Tony Couch and Angela Haddock (Bryan); grandchildren, Lindsay Lovelace (Wally), Caleb Couch (Chelsey), Katie Couch, Hayden Haddock, Hudson Haddock, and Isabella Haddock; great- granddaughter, Blakely Lovelace; brothers, Sammy Balentine (Kim), Johnny Balentine, and James Balentine; sisters, Glenda Thompson and Kathy Ridgeway; brothers-in-law, Alton Smith and Steve Couch (Lisa); sisters-in-law, Charlotte Killen and Susan King (Kenny); several nieces and nephews; special lifelong best friend, Juanita Allison.
