Dorothea Lucy Holmes, 88, of Madison, passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2023.
Dorothea served two years in the Women’s Army Corps during the Vietnam war.
She is survived by her children, Kerry Holmes and William Holmes III; four grandchildren, brothers and sisters, and a host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded by her husband, William S. Holmes II; and parents, Francis and Leora McInerney.
There are no services planned at this time. Berryhill Funeral Home assisted the family.
