Joanna Elaine Liechty Isbell, age 82 of Christiana, passed away on October 30, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Joanna was born on July 4, 1941, in Winchester, Tennessee, to the late Orin and Addie Lee (Robertson) Liechty. She was a dedicated home maker, who enjoyed sewing, gardening, and reading historical and mystery novels. On rainy days, you could find her watching British TV shows. Joanna was a member of the Winchester Cumberland Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Isbell and brother, Robert Liechty. Joanna is survived by her daughters, Mary Lee Isbell and Susanna (Kevin) Beard; grandsons, Robert Huffer and Michael Huffer; granddaughter, Meghan (Ben) Jonakin; sister, Patricia Warmbrod; and many loved nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Friday, November 3, 2023, from 11:00am – 1:00pm at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with funeral service following at 1:00pm with Rev. Dr. Michael Clark officiating.
