Decatur to Host Spectacular Alabama Super Cup: 95 Youth Soccer Teams Compete for Glory!

 DECATUR – The city of Decatur is gearing up to welcome an impressive lineup of youth soccer talent from across six states as the Alabama Super Cup returns for its fifth consecutive year. With the competition set to take place on November 11-12, 2023, the stage is once again set at the renowned Jack Allen Recreation Complex.

Ninety-five youth soccer teams, representing boys and girls across various age groups from U9 through U19, will converge on Decatur, Alabama, for an action-packed weekend of highly competitive soccer. Teams hailing from Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, Tennessee, and within the great state of Alabama have registered to participate in this prestigious tournament.

The Alabama Super Cup has gained recognition for its commitment to fostering young soccer talent and providing them with an exceptional platform to showcase their skills. The tournament will award trophies and medals to first and second-place finishers in each division, a tradition that highlights excellence and sportsmanship.

All matches throughout the weekend will be held at the Jack Allen Recreation Complex, a state-of-the-art facility renowned as one of the South’s premier soccer complexes. The facility boasts an impressive array of 11 fields and two championship fields, providing an ideal setting for the tournament’s intense competition.

For the convenience of attendees, parking passes for the entire weekend can be obtained for a nominal fee of $15 per vehicle.

The Alabama Super Cup made its debut in Decatur in 2019 with nearly 40 teams, and it has since evolved into a premier soccer event, drawing teams and fans from far and wide.
