Mitzi Rae Hartman, age 66 of Estill Springs, passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2023, at Vanderbilt Tullahoma-Harton Medical Center. A native of Franklin County, she was born in Winchester on December 14, 1956, to the late Floyd Anderson and Mary Ellen (Woods) Holmes. Before her retirement, she was employed as a seamstress at Tennessee Apparel. An avid outdoorsman, she enjoyed hiking, swimming, fishing, and gardening, as well as cheering for the Tennessee Volunteers and Titans. She cherished the time spent with her family and loved cooking wonderful meals to share with them. Mitzi’s kind nature and thoughtfulness will be remembered by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Floyd “Boogie” Anderson Jr; and daughter, Stephanie Rae Roberts. Mitzi is survived by her loving husband of twenty-five years, William Douglas Hartman; daughter, Jennifer Watkins; step-sons, Timothy (Rebecca) Hartman and Todd Hartman; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Charles Randy (Rita) Anderson; sister, Sherry Jo Scott; niece, Tanga Williams; and nephews, Charles R. Anderson Jr, Chad Austin Scott, and Shelley Clay Scott. Visitation will be from 9am-11am on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 am in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with Sister Annette King officiating. Interment will follow at New Awalt Cemetery.
