Mary Louise Cox, 95, of Iuka, MS, died Friday, October 13, 2023, at Tishomingo Manor Nursing Home. Mrs. Cox was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church where she loved to sing. She also enjoyed flowers, attending basketball games, and spending time with her family. She is survived by one son, Harold Ray Cox (Judy); two sisters, Hilda Grisham and Bernice Perry; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Cox; her parents, Earl and Lillian Woodruff Barnes; a daughter, Anita Faye Burcham; two sisters, Earline Whitfield and Nan Barnes; and a brother, Keifer Barnes. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 17, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Rev. Cliff Vines. Interment will follow in New Prospect Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 17, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka.
