Funeral service for Ben Callaway, 84, will be Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Hartselle Church of Christ with Phillip Hines officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Hartselle City Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, April 5, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Callaway died on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at Summerford Nursing Home. He was born November 1, 1928, in Morgan County to Charles Benjamin Callaway, Sr. and Ruby (Bray) Callaway. Mr. Callaway was a member and former elder of Hartselle Church of Christ. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving as a Sergeant First Class. He was also a former employee of Wolverine Tube as a machine operator and of AFC Plastics as a foreman. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters: Laverne Callaway Hobbs and Ruthlyn Callaway.

Two Daughters: Lisa Callaway Holmes and husband, Glenn Holmes, Falkville, AL and Nancy Callaway Thomas and husband, Luke Thomas, Decatur, AL
One Sister: Charlene Callaway Wilson, Palm Desert, CA

Pallbearers will be John Callaway, Glenn Holmes, Luke Thomas, Zackery Holmes, Brandon Thomas, and Tripp Callaway.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Kerry Hamlett, Greg Teague, Scott Forsythe, James Kifer, Joe Peete, and Drew Lockhart.
