Bonnie Sue Melton, 71, of Killen, passed away October 1, 2023, at North Alabama Medical Center. She was a homemaker, a member of Grays Chapel Freewill Baptist Church and a long time cancer survivor. Survivors include: Daughter: Tammy Waddell (Jeff) Brothers: Jimmy Dison (Vickey) & William Dison (Teresa) Sisters: Marlin Taylor & Margie Richardson Grandchildren: Tyler Waddell & Shane Waddell Great grandchildren: Bentley Waddell & Kinslee Waddell Preceded in death by: Husband: Danny Ray Melton Parents: James Earl Dison & Mary Ruth Rogers Dison Visitation with the family will be Thursday, October 5, 2023, from 11:00am – 1:00pm, at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00pm, in the funeral home chapel, with Bro. Mike Nabors officiating. Burial will be at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Tyler Waddell, Shane Waddell, Jamie Weeks, Michael Weeks, Josh Dison & Nick Melton. Honorary pallbearers will be: David Dison, Shannon Weeks & Tim Weeks.
