FLORENCE – Wednesday’s Empty bowl Luncheon at the Marriott Conference Center was a big hit with everybody who came by to have a bowl of soup and contribute to “The Cause”.

The big announcement of an expansion program was delivered to participants by Salvation Army Major Don Wilson. He revealed that the organization was beginning a $1.5-million project to expand and modernize the homeless shelter at the Florence campus.

The Quad-Cities Daily was there taking photos of the event. We present them here. they are sized to be downloaded and printed on a photo printer, or taken to the nearest drugstore for printing. Just remember, that the photos are for your personal, NON-PROFESSIONAL use.
