Kathy Harrison was born November 13, 1956 in Savannah, TN, the daughter of the late Bobby Charles Ganus and Dorothy Louise Browder Ganus. She departed this life on September 25, 2023 in Michie, Tennessee at the age of 66 Years, 10 Months, 12 Days.
Kathy was a woman of faith and lived her life as a devoted Christian. She found solace in visiting the Great Smoky Mountains and cherished time spent with her family. Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart, and she had the endearing nickname “Meme.”
Throughout her life, Kathy made a significant impact as an entrepreneur. She was a proud owner of Risner’s Steakhouse and Kathy’s Kafe.
She is survived by the love of her life of 25 years, companion, Jerry Jernigan; four sons: Billy Harrison of Burnt Church, TN, Nathan Harrison and wife Mariah, Jason Harrison and Cody Harrison all of Michie, TN; two brothers, Ken Ganus and wife Sandi of Little Rock, AR, Steve Ganus and wife Teri of Benton, AR; five grandchildren: Caylee, Jay, Riley, Harper, and Ann Kathryne Harrison.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Harrison was preceded in death by a sister, Kay White; two brothers, Denny (Doc) Ganus and Eddie Ganus.
