Funeral Services for Mrs. Margaret E. Grogan, age 87, of Ashland will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Benefield Funeral Home of Ashland with Bro. Kevin Acre officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Memorial Gardens in Talladega.
Mrs. Grogan passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at her Lineville Health and Rehab. She was born in Talladega and spent most of her life in Clay County. She worked as a seamstress and was a member of the Lineville Church of God. She loved taking care of her home, cooking, baking and gardening and also loved gospel music, reading and being able to travel. She loved her family and God deeply.
Mrs. Grogan is survived by her daughter, Sherry Roberts Jones(Richard) of Tuscaloosa; son, Brian Roberts of Lineville; grandchildren, Will Jones(Olivia) of Birmingham, Parker Roberts(Paige) of Opelika and Victoria Jones of Birmingham; several nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.
She is preceded in death by, her parents: Earl and Eleanor Brewer; son, James E. Roberts; Bro, Billy E. Brewer; and daughter-in-law, Tammy Roberts.
Active pallbearers will be Brian Roberts, Parker Roberts, Richard Jones, Will Jones, Mike Brewer and Jeff Luker. Honorary pallbearers will be the staff and therapists at Lineville Health and Rehab.
Her visitation will take place on Saturday, September 9, 2023 from 10:00 A.M. until service time at 11:00 A.M. at Benefield Funeral Home of Ashland.
