Funeral service for Thermon Lee ‘Buddy’ Carden, 82, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, August 31st, 2023 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Springhill Cemetery, Rev. Steve Rodgers and Kenneth Deese officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1-2 prior to the service.

Mr. Carden passed away Monday, August 28th, 2023 at his residence. He was born April 5, 1941 to D.C. & Anner Ellenburg Carden.
And on the eighth day, the Lord looked down on His planned paradise and said, “I need a caretaker” so God made a farmer.
Buddy was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Ann Carden; daughter, Donna (Alan) Edwards; sister, Jean Smith; granddaughter, Katie (Shamar) Robinson; great-grandchildren, Kirklinn Twitty, Korrina Robinson, Kreedence Robinson; special niece and family, Robert Gann, Dana Gann, Bailey Gann; family and friends.
