Joel Hamilton Hunt, age 59, of Manchester, passed away
at home on Saturday, August 5, 2023. He was born in
Chattanooga, Tennessee, on July 28, 1964, to the late
DuRee DuPree Hunt, Jr., and Jane Price Hunt. He grew
up on Lookout Mountain and always expressed
appreciation for his childhood and friends there. He also
fondly remembered the time he spent at his residence,
Hunt Hollow, in Dunlap, Tennessee. He is survived by his
son, Trent Hunt (Courtney), and daughter Kathryn Hunt
Prater (Cain) and by his grandson, Lincoln Prater. He is
also survived by his brother and sisters: DuRee DuPree
Hunt, III; Katie Jumper (Ben); Susan Weir (Paul); and
Hyland Hunt (Rick). A private service will be held.
