Charles Keith Tompkins, 72, Tuscumbia, passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2023. Visitation will be Saturday, August 12, from 3:00 – 3:30 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. A memorial service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel.
Charles was a member of Valdosta Baptist Church, Tuscumbia, and a member of Kappa Sigma, University of North Alabama Chapter. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Methyl Tompkins and William P. Tompkins, Sr.; brothers, William P. Tompkins, Jr., Lloyd Tompkins, Kenneth Tompkins, and Jerry Wayne Tompkins; niece, Kimberly Tompkins Isbell; and nephew, Mark Tompkins.
Charles is survived by his sisters, Sheila T. Taylor and Brenda T. Goodwin; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews whom he loved so much.
