Theodore “Ted” Ferens , age 60, of Florence passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2013. Visitation will be Saturday, March 30, from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Eastwood Church of Christ, Florence. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Sonny Owens, officiating. Mr. Ferens was preceded in death by his brother, Vinny Ferens and step-father, Jim Mannion. Survivors include: parents, Theodore Ferens and Jean Mannion; daughter, Holly (Tim) Elam, Son, Theodore Vincent Ferens, II; grandchildren, Timothy Tyler, Joshua, and Andrew Elam; brother, Michael Ferens; sisters, Cindy Ferens, Tricia Sibert, Michelle Barnes, Kim Vogler, and Toni Palmer, and “adopted” daughter, Mary Elam.
