Mr. Kennon Wood Harbin 77, of Hazel Green passed away peacefully on Sunday March 24, 2013 at his home. Mr. Harbin is preceded in death by his parents George L. and Mattie N. Harbin and one son, Robert Wayne Harbin. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Beverly Harbin, daughter, Joyce Shaver (Eddie), sons, Larry Harbin, and Roger Harbin (Beverly). His grandchildren, Michael Harbin (Brandi), Brian Davis (Bridget), Michelle King (Marty), Blake Shaver(Molly), and great grandchildren, Linda Michelle Brookshire,Talon Davis, Kayla Zinn, Ashton Prestage, Jake Davis,and Reagan Boyett. The family would like to thank special Hospice Nurse Susan Brasher for her kindness, care and concern during the illness and passing of our husband and father. Visitation for Mr. Harbin will be held from 12 noon until 2pm at Pleasant Springs Baptist Church on Winchester Road. Services will follow the visitation at 2pm with burial at Faith Memorial Cemetery.
