William David “Bill” Reliford, 69 of Union Grove passed away Friday, July 28, 2023, at his residence. Bill was born February 7, 1954 in Concord, California, the son of William Dolton Reliford and Betty Jo Terrell Reliford. He was a truck driver for several years, before beginning his career with KFC, until his health declined. He was honorably discharged from the US Army, a member of God’s Way Ministries Church and an avid outdoors man. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grand babies.
He is survived by his wife: Barbara Griffin Reliford; sons: Richard Reliford (Jennifer), Donnie Reliford (Amanda) and David Reliford; grandchildren: Morgan, Justin, Willie, Hailey, Taylor and DJ; mother: Betty Jo Reliford; sisters: Lucy Harvell (J.C.) and Jo Ann Barcomb (Lowell); brother: Larry Reliford (Kathy); host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 3, 2023, at God’s Way Ministries Church with Brother Gary Harvell officiating. The burial will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Gober Funeral Chapel Directing. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at God’s Way Ministries Church.
Pallbearers: Travis Jones, Carlos Burciaga, Steve Reliford, Phillip Walls, Daryl House, Jason Davis and Mike Casey.
