A Graveside Funeral service and Interment for Jerry Martin Thomas, 82, was held Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at 4:00 PM at Red Oak Cemetery with Bro. Eric Thomas officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. No public visitation was held.
Mr. Thomas died on Monday, July 24, 2023 at South Hampton Nursing and Rehab. He was born July 27, 1940, in Marshall County, to Reuben Martin Thomas and Dorothy Lee McCutcheon Thomas.
He was a lifelong member of Cotaco Methodist Church. He was a Teacher and Educator for 38 years working for the Morgan County School System at A.P. Brewer High School, until his retirement. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather.
Preceding him in death were Martha Jo Bowling Thomas, his parents, grandson: Joshua Thomas and an aunt: Bonnie Thomas Osment.
