Funeral service for Mabelou Cook Turner, 83, will be Sunday, July 16, 2023 at 12:00 PM at Harmony Grove Church with Bro. Roger White and Bro. Eric Dabbs officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Johnson Chapel. Visitation will be Sunday, July 16, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Harmony Grove Church,
Mrs. Turner died on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at her residence. She was born February 13, 1940, in Morgan County, to William Elbert Bell and Lena Estelle Hall Bell.
Mrs. Turner was a member of Harmony Grove Church, loved her family dearly and enjoyed Southern Gospel Music. She was a factory worker prior to her retirement.
Preceding her in death were her husband: Eroy Turner, brothers: Bubby Bell, Melvin Gaines, Oneal Gaines and sisters: Louise Shaneyfelt and Floraetta Kelly and her parents.

Pallbearers will be Caleb Cook, Trenton Hart, Dalton Hart, Gene Hart, Randy Gaines and Kenta Brackins.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Stephen Hart and Canaan Cook.
