George Hubert Hurst was born February 22, 1955, the son of the late Wallace Hurst Sr. and Lavada Moten. .He departed this life Sunday, February, 25, 2023.
George was a 1972 graduate of McNairy County High School in Selmer, Tennessee, He was the brain of the family. When the family had gatherings and would do trivia games , everyone wanted George on their team. He loved going to movies and when he laughed he laughed from his soul.
He is preceded in death by his father and mother, brother: Wallace Hurst, Jr and sister: Versie Rozefort.
He leaves to cherish his memories his sisters: Reba Croom of Henderson, Tennessee, Josie Givens of Merrillville, IN, Marsue Irwin and Nancy (Willie) Nix both of Savannah, Tennessee, Wheaty Martin, Agnes Hurst and Troy Hurst all of Selmer, Tennessee, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
