Wilburn Daniel Hayes, age 76, of Sulligent, AL, passed away on Monday, June 26, 2023 at Generations of Vernon in Vernon, AL. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at 12:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with cremation to follow. Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 11:00am until 12:00pm.
Wilburn was born on March 5, 1947 in Prattville, AL to the late Wilburn Elory Hayes and the late Mattie Ophelia Moncrief Hayes. He attended Prattville High School in Prattville, AL. Wilburn began his career in construction and later worked in the trucking industry. He enjoyed being outdoors, especially fishing. He also liked play games on the computer. His loving memory will always be cherished and greatly missed.
