John Thomas Ezell, 56, passed away June 20, 2023 at his residence after a brief illness. He was born February 1, 1967 in Dallas, Texas.
He graduated from Austin High School in 1985, and also attended Calhoun Community College. For many years he was a music teacher who played guitar and keyboards. His music took him to much of the United States. He also was certified to teach English as a foreign language (TEFL) and traveled through much of Europe and China teaching English in schools. He was a member of Westmeade Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Esther Ezell. He is survived by his father, Charlie Ezell and his brother Norman Ezell.
Graveside services will be held Friday, June 23, 2023 at 1:00PM at Burningtree Memorial Gardens with Shelton Funeral Home directing.
