Bobby Ray Bogus, 81, of Florence, passed away June 8, 2023. He was a member of Jacksonburg Church of Christ.
Visitation will be Sunday, June 11, 2023 from 12 – 2 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Gary Gooch officiating. Burial will follow in Mr. Zion Church of Christ Cemetery.
Mr. Bogus was preceded in death by his parents, Brack and Esther Bogus; sisters, Christine Pate (Buster), Mary Ruth Devaney (Bill), and Betty Rickard (Robert); brothers, Chester and David Bogus; brother-in-law; Clinton Gray; nieces, Robbie Rickard and Kathy Moe; and sister-in-law, Janie Bogus.
He is survived by Sue Bogus; son, Tim Bogus (Angela); daughters, Kim Gist (Kerry) and Beth McCormack (Will); brother, Sonny Bogus; sisters, Ozeline Gray, and Ann Cook (Robert); sisters-in-law, Patsy and Linda Bogus; grandchildren, Heather Cox (Thomas), Dustin Bogus (Ashley), Cody Bogus, Morgan Coppock (Nick), Conner Chaney (Tori), Cayden McCormack and Rylan McCormack; great grandchildren, Koy and Raygan Cox, and Owen and Brett Bogus; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Braxton Bogus, Eric Bogus, Kenny Smith, Thomas Cox, and Nick Coppock.
Dustin Bogus, Cody Bogus, Conner Chaney, Cayden McCormack, and Rylan McCormack will serve as honorary pallbearers.
