Mary “Littlen” Elizabeth Steele, went home to be with the Lord, on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at CHI Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, TN. Mary was a Selfless, loving Mother and Grandmother, and always put others before herself. She was a CNA and a member of First Baptist Church of Stevenson.
Mary is survived by her daughters, Stacie (Donnie) Hammontree and Stephanie (Quinton) Tudors,
Sister, Emma Jean Grider Steele (Wallace), Grandchildren, Zach & Dakota Hammontree, Mylee Tudors, and a host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Steele, Parents, Charles Roy Grider and Emma Pauline Grider, Brothers, Johnny “Moon” Grider, Jimmy Mack and Billy Ray.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2023, from 3:00 – 8:00 PM at Rudder Funeral Home of Stevenson. A Graveside Service will be on Friday, June 9, 2023, at Stevenson City Cemetery beginning at 11:00 AM with Bro. Bud Guess officiating.
