Delia Lambert, 80, of Burnsville, Mississippi, died Friday, March 22, 2013, at her residence. She was a member of Antioch Freewill Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, her flowers, quilting, reading, and cooking. Visitation is scheduled for 4 until 8 PM on Sunday, March 24 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM on Monday, March 25, 2013, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Briggs King. Interment will follow in Antioch Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include 2 sons – Frank Lambert (Linda) of Burnsville and Jerry Lambert (Isabella) of Tempe, AZ; 1 daughter – Goldie Phifer (Lonnie) of Iuka; 1 step daughter – Racine Yancey of California; 1 brother – Jim Mullins (Opal) of Walls, MS; 2 sisters – Juanita Grimes of Burnsville and Francis Robinson (Sonny) of Ripley; 13 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and her special friends – Glenda Davis, Sherry Sheffield, Peggy Davis, and Anita Bullock. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jefferson Davis Lambert; her son, Wayne Lambert; her parents, Reedis and Annie Mae Mullins; and her brother, Bud Mullins. Memorial contributions may be made to the Antioch Cemetery Fund.
