Funeral Service for Donald R. Russell, 80 of Hartselle will be Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at 12:00PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Joe McKaig and Bro. Benny Sivley officiating with burial in Burningtree Memorial Gardens with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00AM to 12:00PM at the funeral home. Mr. Russell was born April 11, 1943, in Morgan County, AL to David Carswell Russell and Annie Mae Campbell Russell. He passed away Saturday, June 3, 2023, at his residence. Mr. Russell served three years in the U.S. Army with an honorable discharge with a rank of Sergeant. He was married for 51 years to Rebecca Louise White Russell. An active Member of Decatur Baptist Church and a member of Hartselle Shining Stars Planning Committee for seven years. Preceded in death by his parents; Wife, Rebecca Louise Russell; Son, Mark Allen Russell; Sister, Twyla Russell; two Brothers, John Russell and James Russell.

Two Grandchildren: Christopher Allen Russell and Abigail Elaine Russell

23 Nieces and Nephews
Christopher Russell, Rusty White, John Griffith, Nick Griffith, Grant Harbin and Josh Smith will serve as Pallbearers.
