Lori Sims Lambert of Alabaster, Alabama passed away on May 27, 2023, at the age of 54.
She was born in Huntsville, Alabama on March 1, 1969, to Roy and Videra Sims. After graduating from Clements High School, she went on to obtain her master’s degree in speech pathology from the University of Montevallo. Lori worked at Meadowview Elementary School and was a member of Riverchase Church of Christ. She was very active in her church where she loved helping with the youth and children’s activities. Lori loved everyone and was loved by many.
Lori is preceded in death by her father, Roy Sims; and her grandparents, Ed and Bessie Batts; and Fred and Elvie Sims.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Allan Lambert; her children, Willow Lambert, Saylor Lambert, and Paxton Lambert; her mother, Videra Sims; her brothers, Scott (Sandy) Sims and Chris (Renae) Sims; family, Olivia Semore, Elsa Wright, Emily Sims, and Demitri Sims; her dog, Oscar Lambert; and numerous loving friends.
A visitation will be held at Riverchase Church of Christ on Friday, June 2, 2023, from 6 – 8 pm. Funeral services will be held at Riverchase Church of Christ on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Hardy Cemetery, Athens, Alabama in Limestone County at 2:30 pm.
