Brenda Kathy Bobo, 81 of Arab passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2023. Brenda was born June 4, 1941, the daughter of Hugh Whitfield Branch and Ann Ophelia Worrell Branch. She was a member of the Arab First Baptist Church, Arab Mothers Club, Marshall County Master Gardeners Club and once served on the Arab School Board. She was married to the late Jimmy Russell Bobo, who passed away June 12, 2015. She was also preceded in death by her daughter: Jill Rhea Bobo.
She is survived by son: Russell Bobo, his wife Tricia; grandchildren: Austin Bobo (Kayla), Alexanne Bobo, Rachel Block and Anna Block; great granddaughter: Ellisyn Elrod; brother: Bill Branch (Brenda); nieces and nephews: Justin Branch (Leah Shea), Julia Emrich (Will), Greg Nicholson (Jeffie); great nieces and nephews: Warner Branch, Hugh Branch, Ann Parker Emrich, Alle Emrich, Victoria Nicholson and William Nicholson.
Graveside Service will be 12:00 p.m. Thursday, June 1, 2023, at the Arab Memorial Cemetery, Dr. Paul Murphy officiating, Gober Funeral Chapel directing.
Pallbearers: Russell Bobo, Austin Bobo, Justin Branch, Will Emrich, Greg Nicholson and William Nicholson.
The family has requested in lieu of flowers to please make donations to the Arab First Baptist Church.
