Kenneth Ladon “Yak” Helms passed away on May 27th, 2023 at the age of 65. Mr. Helms was a native of Etowah County Alabama his entire life, and he was loved by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his father Steve Helms and his mother Mable Helms, a daughter Tiffany Helms, brothers Jerry, Larry, Eddie, and David, and sisters Ann, Joyce, Gail, and Sue.
Kenneth was survived by his nieces, Debbie Massey, Donna McCurdy, Theressa Sims, Kay Elrod, and Sheila Marsh.
The family would like to thank Phillip Wise and Anthony Butler for always being there for Kenneth. The family will have a private service at a future date.
