Donard Gregory Gore Age 67 of Albertville passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at Marshall Medical Center South.
Survived by son Paul Aaron Gore of Gainsville FL, Father Donard Wayne Gore of Albertville AL, Sisters Rita Gore Dowd and Lita Gore Baird both of Albertville and Brother Joseph Wayne Gore of Albertville. Special Friend Teresa Grayson Martin and her son Coby Martin. Numerous nephews and 1 niece.
Greg’s working career started at the age of 10 years old when he shined shoes at Howard’s Barber Shop in downtown Albertville after school and weekends. Greg even opened a bank account and a line of credit at a local jewelry store at that young age. In high school Greg worked after school and weekends at a car wash. Gregory finished high school at Point Loma High School in San Diego, Ca. After a brief period in retail furniture sales & hotel hospitality, Greg spent approximately 25 years in retail management Walmart & Sam’s Wholesale Club including a short period of self employment. Greg finally spent approximately 10 years in the trucking industry before retiring in about 2020.
