Mr. Jim Bratten Underhill age 99 of McMinnville, TN, died Saturday, May 27, 2023, at his residence. He was born November 21, 1923, in DeKalb County, TN, worked as a mechanic, and was a member of Forest Park Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves. Mr. Underhill was preceded in death by parents Henry Till and Macon Brown Hall Underhill, wife of 76 years Eva Odell Underhill, and brothers Eugene Underhill and Bobby Underhill.
Survivors include his children Dwight (Sue) Underhill, Michael (Brenda) Underhill, Vicky Crouch, and Terry Underhill (Lynn Pierce), nine grandchildren, and twenty great grandchildren.
Funeral service is 1:00 P.M. Thursday, June 01, 2023, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Rick Stewart will officiate. Interment will follow at Hale Cemetery in the Pea Ridge Community. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and again Thursday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service at McMinnville Funeral Home.
