Funeral for Gladys Moses Prater, 92, of Priceville, will be Friday, May 26, 2023 at 2:00PM at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Cecil Berry officiating and Shelton Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in New Friendship Cemetery in Somerville. Visitation will be Thursday, May 25, 2023 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Shelton Funeral Home.
Mrs. Prater died on Monday, May 22, 2023 at Huntsville Hospital. She was born January 21, 1931 to Robert Lee and Josa O’Lena Brady Moses.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Leonard E. Prater, son, Ronnie W. Prater, brothers, Vergil, Cecil, Raymond, Earl, Jake, Brother, and Easton; sisters, Reathie Higdon, Dovie Higdon, Leota Eubanks, and Bonnie Thompson.
Survivors include her daughter, Connie Prater, grandson, Douglas Prater (Ashley).
