Terry D. Allcorn, 78 of Warrior, passed away May 17, 2023 at his residence. He was a member of New Temple Baptist Church in Bagley. He served as a Deacon at Good Hope Baptist in Dora for many years. He was a graduate of Dora High School, class of 1962. He was retired from Brungart Equipment Co after 37 years. He served in the Air National Guard. He loved Alabama football, traveling, fishing, camping and spending time with family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Pat and Bernie Allcorn and his sister, Shelby Wood.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Betty Jane “Sissy” Allcorn; son, Jeff Allcorn and wife Selina; grandchildren, Ashlynn Allcorn, Jon Allcorn and Chase Allcorn; step grandchildren and many step-great grandchildren; his sister, Sandra Graham and husband Dale; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be Friday May 19, 2023 at 2:00 pm in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Rev. J.J. Creel will officiate. Eulogy by Rev. Tim Blackmon. Burial will follow at Good Hope Baptist Cemetery. Visitation is Friday 1-2 pm.
The family wants to say a special thanks to Pro Health Hospice, Aubrey Wilson, Angel Walker and many other health care workers.
