Michael Ray Twitty, age 53, of Florence, passed away May 16, 2023. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 19, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home. The service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Ashley Pettus officiating. Burial will be at Rogers Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Twitty was preceded in death by his wife, Regina Johnson; mother, Mary Twitty; and brother, Charles Willis Twitty, Jr.
Survivors include his father, Charles Willis Twitty; children, Chuck Twitty (Chelsea), Kaylee Twitty (Marcus Mandrell), and Jessica Rikard; brothers, Ronald Twitty (Jenny) and Sean Reagan; sisters, Rebecca Greenhill (Regis), Brandy Wilbanks, and Melonie Twitty; and grandchildren, Gemma, Evie Mae, Raylynn, Rose, Paitynn, and Samara.
He loved spending time with his grandchildren, fishing, Bingo and camping.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to his Good Samaritan account at Bank Independent. The family would like to express their thanks to NAMC, and special nurse Wyatt, who took such good care of him.
