Sharon Kay Clark, age 71 of Haleyville, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at her residence.
Sharon was born on May 17, 1951 in Crossroads, Alabama. Sharon was a loving mother, wife, grandparent, and sister. She worked hard all of her life. She was a caretaker to every member of her family. She was an active member of Lighthouse Full Gospel Church of God. To know her was to love her.
A visitation will be held on Friday, May 19, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Philadelphia Church Cemetery in Lynn. Reverend Linda Smith will officiate.
Sharon is survived by her daughter, Shannon Sumerel (Darrell); son, Brad Clark (Donna); stepdaughter, Regina Clark; grandchildren, Shaela Clark, Ty Sumerel (Callie), Tanner Sumerel, Chris Clark (Sherry), Matthew Clark, and Kayla Clark; great granddaughter Essie Kate Sumerel; brothers, Bobby Tittle (Diane) and Ricky Franks (Mary); sisters, Diane Snyder Comins, Deb Anderson, Jan Likeness, Linda Smith, and Ann Allen.
She was preceded in death by her father, Odie (Pod) Tittle; mother, Tressie Franks; and husband, Wayne Clark.
