Graveside service for William Stanley Alexander, 89, of Courtland Alabama, will be Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at 3:00PM at Courtland City Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:00PM-2:00PM at Shelton Funeral Home.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Hansel Wood Alexander and Gussie Leah Waldrop Alexander, sisters, Kathleen McBride, Nadeen Alexander, Jean Graham, Betty Hughes, and brother, Larry Alexander.
He was retired from Monsanto after 37 years of service. He was a handy man for the community and could fix anything. He would help anyone who needed help. He was a loving father and grandfather.
He is survived by daughters, Lisa Griffin, Lynn Huttleston, son, Glenn Alexander, six grandchildren, Shannon Patterson, Monica Maples, Dustin Griffin, Nick Borden, Morgan Griffin, Madison Alexander, ten great- grandchildren, and two great- great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Nick Borden, Nicholas Borden, Jackson Borden, Dustin Griffin, Todd Patterson, and Madison Alexander.
