A Celebration of Life Service for Dimple Hastings Smith 65, is set for 11:00 am Thursday at Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Corey Holly officiating. Burial will follow in the Rogers Chapel Cemetery.
Family will receive friends Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00pm and Thursday 10:00 to service time.
Dimple died May 16, 2023 at North MS Medical Center. She was born May 8, 1958 in Alcorn Co. MS. to the late James W. and Lessie Quay Hastings. She was of the Baptist faith, a former seamstress having worked in garment factories. She was the family baby sister for her family and friends, for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Roger Dale Thrasher and Robby Smith; her parents; and brother, J.R. Hastings.
She is survived by her son Jeremy Thrasher (Teresa); grandsons, Roger Thrasher (Kaleigh Martin), Curtis Thrasher; brothers, Jason Hastings (Kim), Johnny Hastings (Jody); sisters, Shirley Wilson, Debra Crum; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
