Joseph Wayne Turner Jr. 64, resident of Hickory Flat, passed away Monday, May 8, 2023, at his residence surrounded by his family.
Funeral Services honoring the life of Mr. Turner will be at 1PM Monday, May 15, 2023, in the Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home with Bro. Doc Shelton officiating. Visitation will be from 11AM until time of service with a private burial.
Mr. Turner was born September 29, 1958, in Tupelo to the late Joseph Wayne and Dorthy Wolfe Turner Sr. He received his education in the Dallas, TX Public School System. He was a self-employed master plumber licensed in Tennessee and Texas.
Those left to cherish his memories include two sons, Joseph Aaron Turner of Hickory Flat, Jeremy Ryan Turner of Memphis, two sisters, Dolores Turner Smith (Nathan) of Campbel, TX, Karen Nordyke (Kim) of Seattle WA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Joshua Steven Turner and one brother, Dennis Turner.
