Donna Marie Kaufmann, 61, of Huntsville Alabama, died on Tuesday May 2, 2023, at her home. Donna was born November 8, 1961, to Mary and Fred Kaufmann owners of Auto Electric Service in Huntsville. She graduated high school in 1980 from J.O. Johnson High, and followed with college classes at North Alabama Business College.
Donna was an active volunteer and member of the Huntsville Obedience Training Club for over 30 years. She competed with a variety of dog breeds including Dobermans, Border Collies and Australian Shepherds in Obedience and Flyball. She also showed her puppies in confirmation through the Huntsville Kennel club.
Although she began her career managing the small engine division of her family business, she went on to work in various accounting and bookkeeping careers and did beautiful machine embroidery work.
Donna spent many hours working for various organizations, cooking for family and friends, and sharing a laugh and lending a helping hand to many.
She is survived by her mother, Mary Kaufmann and brother, Fred Kaufmann Jr. as well as a large extended family. She was loved and will be missed.
Visitation will be held at the Monto Sano United Methodist Church from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon, Saturday, May 6, 2023. The funeral service will follow at noon with Reverend Dale Clem officiating.
