Elisabeth B. Harper, 81 of Athens, passed away on Monday, April 24th, 2023, at her residence. Mrs. Harper was born on February 25th, 1942, in Athens, to David and Doris Springer Barksdale.
Mrs. Harper is survived by her daughter Sherry Graham, of Athens; brothers Frank Barksdale (Jane) of Round Rock, Texas, and Dan Barksdale, of Athens; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and husband Walter “Speedy” Harper.
A graveside service for Mrs. Harper will be Thursday, April 27th, 2023, at 10:00am, at Limestone Presbyterian Cemetery on Hwy. 72 in Athens, with David O’Connell officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made in Mrs. Harper’s memory to Oliver Church of Christ.
