Jimmy Wayne Nix, age 74 of Carbon Hill, passed away on Monday, April 17, 2023 at his residence.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at 12:30 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 1:30 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at New Flatwoods Cemetery. Lynell Early will officiate.
Mr. Nix was preceded in death by his Parents-Wesley and Beula Nix; Brothers-Billy and Kenneth Nix; Sister-Doris Nix Morris; 3 infant brothers; 1 infant sister.
He is survived by his Daughters-Shannon Nix Jones of Carbon Hill and Jamie Nix (Freddrick) of Jasper; Sisters-Edith Nix Bridgmon of Carbon Hill, Joyce Nix Tucker (Audrie) of Carbon Hill and Gayla Nix of Carbon Hill; Sister-in-law-Willie Nix of Jasper; Special Friend-Debra Nix; Grandchildren-Trystan Weaver, Aleeah Nix and Jaydah Jones.
