Iris DeAnn Blankenship, age 85, passed away on April, 9,2023.
She was born to Ernest William and Thelma Tuck Blankenship on January 3,1938. She worked for Jefferson County Family Court until she retired.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest William and Thelma Blankenship; Sister, Melba Joan Irvin; and Brother, Ernest William (Buddy) Blankenship, Jr. . She is survived by her Brother, Larry S. Blankenship(Donna) and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be on April 19, 2023 from 1:00pm to 1:30pm with funeral service at 1:30 pm at Open Door Church, 5701 Birmingport Road, Birmingham, Alabama. Burial will be at Freewill Memorial Cemetery in West Jefferson, Alabama. Rick Cooper will officiate.
