Mrs. Margaret O. Elrod, age 91 of Arab, passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2023. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 14, 2023 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Adams Brown Service Funeral Home, with Brother Tony Gunter officiating. The family will receive friends and loved ones at 1:00 pm till the time of service, and burial will follow at First Baptist Church of Geraldine Cemetery.
Mrs. Elrod is survived by her daughter Lou Ann Carver; son John Elrod (Tina); grandchildren Alicia Roe (Daniel), Justin Elrod, Lindsey James (Paul), and Claire Carver; and great grandchildren Lily Roe, Ella Roe, Maggie Roe, and Houston James.
She was preceded in death by her parents Hubert and Lizzie Slater; husband Elmo Elrod; and sisters Madge Fox, Dot Gilley, and Martha Marshall.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to be made to The Annie Armstrong Easter Offering at Arab First Baptist Church, thank you.
