Betty Boyd Rushing passed away on April 9, 2023, at the glowing age of 94 surrounded by family.
She was preceded in death by her father Eldon W. Boyd, mother Anna M. Boyd, husband Billy G, Rushing, and son Michael G. Rushing.
She was survived by her daughter; Vickie R. Snow (Bobby), brother; William H. Boyd Sr., adopted son; Ray Wilkins (Katie), granddaughters; Morgan Defreese (Jake), and Dr. Blair Gibson (Wes), great-grandchildren; Kylan Rushing Defreese, Madison Taylor Defreese, Sims Grace Gibson, and Mabry Scott Gibson, and a niece; Julie Boyd Jackson (Lance).
Betty loved her family and her dog Tessa. If you knew Nana you would remember her kindness, humor, and her sense of style. She was always the life of the party. Her accomplishments were being a gold star mother, a notary at Large, and Justice of the Peace. We know she will miss her Fridays and Sundays out. T.J. Max, the Beauty Shop, and her turkey and bananas. She is rejoicing right now with the love of her life B.G.
